Trey was born on a sunny June morning, at 26 weeks 2 days gestation weighting just 1lb 13oz. He was a strong little boy who fought so hard to stay with us and showed so much courage. Within the first 2 weeks of his life, he showed everybody his strength by breathing without assistance. Unfortunately, Trey suffered a perforated bowel that was not diagnosed for over 2 weeks and had to take a trip to Great Ormond Street Hospital, where he stayed for 3 weeks and 2 days until he peacefully went to play with the angels in heaven. We are now left with the pain that he no longer feels.
